BSL Campground Rules & Regulations
WELCOME TO BURNTSTICK LAKE
RULES & REGULATIONS
To ensure everyone’s camping pleasure, a good facility must have some reasonable rules.
- Please register at the office before occupying any site. Rates are per sleeping unit not site (caretakers may use their discretion) and are posted at the Office.
- The Registered camper is responsible for the actions of all campers, pets and visitors on site. All Visitors must register at the office and leave by 11:00 p.m. No visitor vehicles allowed in campground.
- Quiet hours are from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Please avoid excessive noise at all times. Generators to be operated from 9 a.m. to 11:00 p.m for a 2 hour limit at any given time. Under no circumstances are generators to be in the bush; they must be on your immediate camp site only.
- Consumption of alcohol is restricted to registered campsites. Liquor is prohibited by provincial law in all public areas. This includes roads, trails, playgrounds, beach area and day use sites.
- Do not deface trees. Axe marks, carvings or limb cutting and use of nails, spikes, screws in trees are prohibited. A damaged tree is a weak tree. Weak trees become a danger and must be removed. Please remember to remove your ropes and strings.
- Fires are to be contained within campground provided fire pits. No long wood or burning of deadfall. Never leave your fire unattended. ALWAYS CHECK WITH THE CAMP CARETAKERS REGARDING FIRE BANS. In the event of a Fire Ban the only open flame allowed will be that of a Propane Barbeque. The caretakers have final say regarding circumstances around fire bans.
- Do not put garbage in toilets or fire pits. Use garbage bins provided for your use. No burning of cans, bottles or tin foil.
- No operating of ATV’s in campground. ATV’s must remain loaded unless parked in designated area behind caretakers’ site.
- No dumping of R.V. tanks anywhere in campground (there is a dump station in Caroline). Do not wash hair, dishes, clothes or vehicles at water tap.
- Pets must be on a leash and under the control of their owners at all times; do not leave pets unattended at any time. Pets are not allowed in the playground, swimming area or on the beach. You must pick up after your pet. No excessive barking.
- Fireworks are allowed, but only on the beach with caretakers’ approval. No fireworks are to be set off in the campground due to fire hazards.
- Playground and swimming areas are unsupervised. Supervision of children is a Parental Responsibility.
- Posted Speed Limit is 10 km/hour in the campground. WATCH OUR CHILDREN!
14. Under no circumstances will firearms, pellet guns, confetti guns, paintball guns, potato guns, bow and arrow or such similar items be used in the campground.
ANY PERSON IN VIOLATION OF THESE RULES OR EXHIBITING UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCTMAY BE REMOVED AND REFUSED FUTURE ENTRY. Please follow posted speed limits.
